How to run on windows? #7

Description

@eabase

I just found this from being added to:

But I don't see any info on building on Windows. (What did I miss?)

I'm using Windows-11 Pro but are also using Cygwin, MSYS/Mingw64 (pacman) and WSL (avoiding like plague).

What are the steps you are using to compile for Windows support?

Also:

What is MPRIS (sdbus-c++) support?

Suggested ToDo Addition

You may want to consider adding

  • sixel support to display images (like album covers) directly in terminal.

Sixel supports any terminal (Mintty, Windows Terminal, Bash, Xterms etc.)
