Bug in AI Assistant

In AI Assistant, If we type any thing it says AI failed.

Also, Drop file function is not working it just says that paste your syllabus or notes

I’ll work on this issue and investigate both problems: the AI Assistant showing “AI failed” for every input and the file drop/upload functionality not working. I’ll identify the root cause, implement the necessary fixes, test both features.

I looked into this issue and can reproduce the "AI failed" error on any input — it looks like it could be an API/response handling issue in the AI Assistant call. I'd also like to help investigate the file drop/upload feature not working (currently just prompting "paste your syllabus or notes" instead of accepting a file).

I'd be glad to dig into both if this hasn't been picked up yet — happy to also help review/support if @28106 is already actively working on it. Let me know how I can help under GSSoC 2026.
