EC Corporate Presentation Template for Quarto

A Quarto reveal.js theme that replicates the European Commission corporate PowerPoint template.

Prerequisites

• Quarto (v1.3+)

Quick Start

1. Clone this repository
2. Copy sample-presentation-quarto.qmd and rename it for your presentation
3. Edit the YAML header (title, subtitle, author) and add your slides
4. Render:

quarto render your-presentation.qmd

This produces an HTML file you can open in any browser.

There is also the possibility to export as a PDF file. Because headless chrome is blocked, we need to do this manually:

• open the HTML file
• enter printing mode (F2)
• print to pdf (ctrl + p)

Making Slides

Currently, there are four types of slides:

• A titlepage (based on YAML header)
• A body slide
• A section divider {.section}
• An ending slide {.end}

ec-corporate-quarto.scss	Theme stylesheet (do not modify unless customising the theme)
sample-presentation-quarto.qmd	Sample presentation you can use as a starting point
ec-logo-white.png	EC logo (white, used on title slide)
ec-emblem.png	EC emblem (used on regular and end slides)
cc-by-logo.png	CC BY 4.0 logo (used on end slide)

Keep all image files in the same folder as your .qmd file.
