I have not found an averager tutorial in the notebooks available on the CDAT site that I could send to a colleague. I think there is one, or someone was working on one, but I can't find the issue where it was mentioned

It should be easy to find this! It took me 40 mn to find this, checking the web site, my old mails, my old issues in CDAT/* :-(
