Hi, I can't compile the Acoustics Toolbox under Ubuntu 24.04. No error message, but make produces executables (*.exe) for Windows. Can you please provide the contents of the Makefile you used to compile the .f90 scripts and produce the expected files (.so)? The Makefile in the repository is apparently intended for Windows compilation.
Also, once the scripts have been compiled, where should they be moved so that they are recognized as python packages in a virtual environment and called up in the PYAT project?

Hmmm... Indeed, the binaries have the *.exe extension, but they are Linux binaries. Dynamic libraries (files with the *.so extension) won't be created and you can move the *.exe files to a directory where the Linux system can find them (in my case is the $HOME/bin directory). If for some reason the $HOME/bin is still not in your path edit your .bashrc file and add the command PATH=$PATH:$HOME/bin: at the end. Close the terminal and open it again; check that the Linux system is now aware of the $HOME/bin directory by typing $PATH in the terminal. Once this is working the Python scripts will be able to call the models. Let me know if this works.

Thank you very much for your advice. It hadn't even occurred to me that *.exe could be recognized. The compilation procedure was therefore fully operational. I prefer to move the executables to my /.venv/bin folder so that they remain associated with my project. The toolbox is now well recognized. Now I can get to the fun part :))
