WaveShaper is a desktop audio processing studio for Windows. A file passes through one chain of equaliser, effects, dynamics and mastering, which you hear as you adjust it and export when it is right. Every stage can be bypassed and saved as a preset, and metering follows integrated loudness and true peak throughout.
- 10-band equaliser with all bands, ranges and response types, high- and low-pass filters from 6 to 48 dB/oct, and 44 built-in presets
- Reverb in six types, delay in six modes, saturation in five models, and tremolo, vibrato, chorus, phaser and flanger
- Creative effects, from bitcrush and reverse to stutter, gate, lo-fi, ring modulation and granular texture
- Compressor with soft knee, sidechain, lookahead and auto-release, plus gate/expander and brick-wall limiter
- Four-band multiband compression
- Mastering suite: true-peak limiter with five styles, stereo imaging and mid/side balance, exciter and tape saturation, and presets for streaming, broadcast, CD and vinyl
- Time stretch from 0.25x to 4x and pitch shift of ±12 semitones, with five algorithms
- Integrated LUFS, peak and true-peak metering, and a spectrum analyser with seven display modes
- Player with eight real-time visualisations, crossfade and mono check
- Output through WASAPI shared or exclusive, DirectSound or ASIO, with adjustable buffer size and dithering
- WAV, FLAC, MP3 up to 320 kbps and OGG Vorbis, and AAC in Premium
- Peak normalisation, and LUFS normalisation for streaming (−14), Apple (−16) and broadcast (−23) in Premium
- Up to 48 kHz and 24-bit in Basic; up to 192 kHz and 32-bit float in Premium
The free Basic edition is a complete processing studio. Premium adds the mastering stages and the highest export formats. Premium processing can be auditioned in Basic before you decide; it is applied on export in Premium.

- One-time purchase. No subscription and no renewal. Prices are final; Arctisoft Studio is a small business under the Austrian small-business rule and charges no VAT.
- Three computers. One license is for one person and works on up to three computers at the same time. Premium keeps working offline for 30 days at a time.
- Updates included for WaveShaper 3.
- Try before you buy. Signed in, you can use Premium for 14 days on one computer, without payment details. WaveShaper offers it when you export with Premium processing.
- 14-day refund in full, without giving a reason.
- Transferable to another Arctisoft account from 30 days after purchase, once in 12 months.
Premium is purchased in Studio Hub under Store & Upgrades. Payment is handled by Stripe; the product key is sent by email and registered to your account.

- Download the installer from the latest release.
- Run it and follow the setup. It installs for your Windows user account, so no administrator rights are needed. Setup can also install Studio Hub alongside it.
- WaveShaper checks for new versions on the update channel you choose: Stable, Preview or Manual.
Updates are taken only from this repository's official releases. Before an update runs, its installer is checked against the size and SHA-256 digest that GitHub records for the release, and an installation signed by Arctisoft Studio accepts only an installer from the same publisher. WaveShaper can always update by itself; Studio Hub offers the same releases from one place.
All processing happens on your computer, and your audio files never leave it. WaveShaper works without an account. Signing in with your Arctisoft account adds Premium, the trial and, if you choose, settings sync across computers; presets sync with Premium.
