Small Bukkit plugin that shows equipped armor and its durability in the action bar.
Helmet: 100% | Chestplate: 84% | Leggings: 67% | Boots: 23%
Empty slots just show --.
Works on Spigot and Paper, both 1.21.x and 26.x servers. No client mods, no resource packs. Bedrock players get it through Geyser, old Java clients through ViaVersion too.
gradlew build
Jar ends up in build/libs/. If gradlew gives trouble, plain gradle build works too.
The jar goes in plugins/, then a restart. config.yml gets created on first run.
Everything lives in plugins/ArmorHUD/config.yml. Edit it and run /armorhud reload.
Formats are MiniMessage. Each slot has a name placeholder and a percentage placeholder:
<helmet>/<chestplate>/<leggings>/<boots>- the piece name, colored by durability%helmet%/%chestplate%/%leggings%/%boots%- the percentage (or--if empty)
Colors: 60+ green, 30-59 yellow, below 30 red. There's a messages section too if the command text needs changing.
/armorhud on/armorhud off/armorhud- current status/armorhud reload- admin only
Permissions armorhud.use (default true) and armorhud.admin (default op).
Preferences are stored per UUID in settings.yml, off by default. The action bar only updates when something changes, checks every 10 ticks.
