Cold browser loads could report failed Git and data checks when a valid calculation exceeded a shared ten-second request budget. Browser section, resource and history reads now keep a bounded calculation running and return token-bound pending responses until verified results are ready. Other HTTP clients still wait for their normal complete response.
Individual Git commands retain a separate ten-second limit, including worker, history and snapshot verification paths. Actual failures remain fail-closed and offer an explicit loading retry. Pending reads share work, reject changed snapshots and stop within their calculation budget.
Validation: Node 24 full validation; focused pending, concurrency, stale-snapshot, failure/retry and effective subprocess timeout regressions; actual cold browser load and record detail on a large workspace; browser failure-to-retry recovery; fresh 224-record generated consumer validation/build; package inspection and audit. Coordinated patch release: filegrc/create-filegrc 0.21.7, with no source format or model change.
