The sync indicator stays expanded while a sync is active, so pauses between WHOOP chunks no longer repeatedly collapse it. Today uses lazy card construction and keeps header width state local to the header.
Validation: macOS/iOS app builds, 51 focused Today tests and 28 relevant design tests passed. An isolated Mac launch/synthetic-sync trace showed fewer SwiftUI body evaluations; it did not establish an overall startup, FPS or CPU improvement. Real iPhone scrolling and WHOOP sync still require device testing.
Stacked on the fork AI compatibility branch for a combined test build. No upstream PR is requested yet.
