Classic Today's Rest hero inserted a caption whenever strap history became pending. Brief sync transitions added and removed a line below the score rings, moving the cards underneath.

Replace the hero caption with a static sync glyph in the label's existing balancing slot. The explanation remains available to VoiceOver and in the Rest metric tile. Both Rest readouts share the existing invisible backfill bridge's pending presentation state, which includes offload and pending history and reuses the header's three-second hide delay across chunk gaps. The shared helper publishes only visibility changes. Raw backfill still controls data-read scheduling immediately. Scores and provenance remain visible, with no extra caption row, reserved caption height, spinner, observer or dependency.

Validation:

• macOS app compiled; 22 Rest freshness, pending-sync diagnostic, presentation and hero ring-sizing tests passed. The hosted SwiftUI presentation test covers chunk gaps, hide cancellation, pulse updates and eventual clearance.
• iOS Release app, widget and watch targets compiled.
• Translation, doc-comment hygiene, source capability and unsigned binary policy checks passed.
• Local test build 443; on-device history-sync behavior still requires testing.

Apple-only UI change, as requested for this fork. This draft is stacked on the feature cleanup branch; upstream submission waits for device testing.
