Hi, I'm Akshat 👋

Computer Science Engineering (Core) student at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, KTR, Chennai — currently in Semester III.

I'm interested in how AI systems reason about and interact with the real world — that spans research (Vision-Language Models) and applied work (agentic AI, MCP-based tooling).

What I'm working on

  • 🔬 Research — evaluating Vision-Language Models for road-scene reasoning, fusing dashcam imagery with map-based context. Paper accepted at ICVTTS 2026, presenting in Bangalore this September.
  • 🤖 Agentic AI / MCP — building tools on the Model Context Protocol; runner-up at the Agentic AI Hackathon 2026.
  • 🛰️ Completed a Def-Space Summer Internship at Bharat Space Education Research Centre (BSERC), covering Generative AI, cybersecurity, and drone technology.
