Hi, I'm Adit Singh

I'm a Computer Science and Mathematics student at UW–Madison interested in backend and infrastructure engineering—especially distributed systems, databases, streaming systems, and reliability. I'm also exploring lower-level systems and firmware. I'm currently researching physical design for semantic operator systems. I also enjoy contributing to Redis when I have time!

Selected work

  • Redis OSS: Migrated all 28 legacy Redis Cluster tests into the standard test framework, preserved real node failure and persistence behavior, and retired the standalone runner and CI path.
  • AlphaStream: Built an L2 order book in C++.
  • Blockchain Fraud Detection: Built an event-driven Bitcoin risk-monitoring system using Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis Streams, FastAPI, and a GAT-ResNet model.

Experience

Across two software engineering internships at Cisco, I built Go and Kubernetes validation infrastructure, durable Kafka workflows that survive pod restarts, and high-throughput Java/Spring Boot log-processing services.
