Plainer wording in the cheat sheet hero, closing CTA, tips, FAQ and support labels, the sample document, empty state, loading skeleton and meta descriptions. Same facts and features, fewer em-dash asides, taglines and filler. Drop kickers that repeat their heading, the closing CTA's body text, redundant tips and chapter-intro clauses, the empty-state label and the sample document's extra SQL block and sign-off line. Before: parts of the cheat sheet and site read like AI-generated text. There were taglines and kicker labels that restated their heading, intros that repeated what the badges already said, tips that told readers nothing new, and filler jokes in the sample document. The writing also leaned on em-dash asides, "not X but Y" lines and puffery like "beautifully typeset".
After: less text overall (net −37 lines of copy across two commits). What remains says the same facts in plainer sentences. No behaviour changes. Section ids, the H1 and the heading structure are unchanged.
How: the first rule was to delete anything that wasn't needed, and only then to reword what stayed.
