Cleanup (#8)

* copy over some doc comments

* minor cleanups to improve readability

only formatting and renaming, no semantic changes

* ArrayListUnmanaged(Diff) => DiffList
* std.testing => testing
* use Diff.init() consistently
* use DiffError consistently
* break up some long lines
