Allow providing runtime instead of layer

I use effect in parts of my app outside of tanstack query, and it's important that all my effect code runs on the single runtime so that my layers are only created once. I'd like an option to provide my own ManagedRuntime to createEffectQuery, so that resources such as websockets can be reused.

Please try installing version 0.1.2-beta.1 and create your effect-query using your existing ManagedRuntime like this:

export const eq = createEffectQueryFromManagedRuntime(managedRuntime);

Give it a try and let me know if this solves your issue.

That solves the runtime problem, now I need to think about how to get this working with solid-query, since the types from react-query aren't 100% compatible 😅

You are right - this won’t work with SolidJS out of the box. The good news is it shouldn’t be too difficult to port the library to Solid. I’ve already started the work here: #4. I won’t have much time over the next few days, and I’m not sure how quickly you need this, but I should be able to finish it this week.
