New main branch

Today (May 8th 2026), the old branch main was renamed to main-old-again. The new branch named main was checked out from devel and pushed unchanged.

In the future, main will be an exact copy of devel. A linear history is enforced and only Rebase merges are allowed. The existence of main is for triggering release actions.
