On Android 15, when switching the toggle to VPN and pressing Enable for the first time, a Connection request window to connect to the VPN will appear. After confirming, the Enable button will change to Disable, and in the notification bar, a FireWall Blocks notification with the message VPN is active will appear, but in reality, no VPN connection is established, and network rules are not applied.
When checking in Settings → Hotspot & Connections → VPN, I see FireWall Blocks listed here but it is not connected.
I tried enabling the Always-on VPN option for FireWall Blocks, and a notification saying:
Can't connect to always-on VPN.
FireWall Blocks is set up to stay connected all the time, but it can't connect right now. Your phone will use a public network until it can reconnect to FireWall Blocks.
will appear.
P/S: I tried it with NetGuard, and it works fine. So, I think this issue is due to FireWall Blocks.
