SeekerHD Raspberry Pi Examples

Reference configurations and examples for using the Divimath SeekerHD camera with Raspberry Pi 3 Model A+ and Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W.

This repository covers HDMI output, image tuning, camera rotation, digital zoom, low-light operation, and dynamic digital zoom using Python/Picamera2.

Contents

Required camera configuration

Edit:

sudo nano /boot/firmware/config.txt

Ensure:

camera_auto_detect=0
dtoverlay=imx462

Reboot, then verify:

rpicam-hello --list-cameras

HDMI mode configuration

Edit /boot/firmware/cmdline.txt. Keep it as a single line and add the appropriate HDMI argument.

720p60:

video=HDMI-A-1:1280x720@60D

1080p30:

video=HDMI-A-1:1920x1080@30D

Do not replace the whole cmdline.txt with one copied from another Pi or SD card.

Python examples

Python-based examples require Picamera2 and, for PWM input, lgpio.

See:

docs/python-setup.md

For a quick install:

chmod +x scripts/install-python-dependencies.sh
./scripts/install-python-dependencies.sh

Analog CVBS configuration is intentionally not included yet and will be added after validation on target hardware.
