Sonarr intermittently times out when querying the Quasarr indexer

• Quasarr version: 4.6.2
• Last reported working version: 4.6.0
• Deployment: Portainer
• OS: Linux

Problem

Sonarr intermittently reports that the configured Quasarr indexer is unavailable. Requests time out, after which Sonarr temporarily disables the indexer because of repeated failures.

The available logs do not contain enough information to identify the failed request or determine whether Quasarr received it.

Available Sonarr logs

INFO  Sending request to indexer proxy
WARN  Indexer temporarily unavailable due to recent failures
ERROR Unable to connect to indexer, please check the log for more details
ERROR The operation has timed out
WARN  Temporarily ignoring indexer due to recent indexer errors

No cause has been established yet.

@papinko The FlareSolverr messages you posted currently have no demonstrated connection to the reported Sonarr problem, so they have been removed from the issue description. Do not confuse correlation with causality here.

How to proceed:

Please enable trace logging in Sonarr and reproduce the failure. Provide the complete Sonarr log lines for the affected request, including:

• Timestamp
• HTTP method
• Request path and query parameters
• Timeout duration
• HTTP status and response body, or the complete exception
• Quasarr logs from the same timestamp

You may redact the hostname and API key. Keep the path, query parameters, status code, and timestamps intact. The current generic Sonarr messages do not show which request Sonarr attempted or where it failed.

@papinko closing as inactive. Please open with the required details once you have them. I will then work on this asap.

I got the same issue as OP. Attached you find the trace log of sonarr and the docker logs for quasarr. I started the test of the indexer in sonarr at roughly 21:28:04 and the timeout happens after 100s (21:29:44).

Sometimes it works as it should but most of the time i get this timeout. If you need anything else let me know and i will provide it.

Fixed by enforcing sane timeouts.
