From 6a7fe4744357a1b9fb9088aec5426fbe511b5af2 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Janghoon Lee <44862514+savagemanage@users.noreply.github.com> Date: Tue, 20 Oct 2026 00:31:09 +0000 Subject: [PATCH 1/2] Brand the default-browser modal's Settings illustration The Windows "Set Redrob as your default browser" modal shows a mock of Settings > Apps > Default apps. Upstream's SVG spells "Google Chrome" in the breadcrumb and in "Make Google Chrome your default browser" as outlined glyphs, so string branding never reached it. Substitute the file through branding/manifest: same SVG, with those two glyph runs replaced by naming Redrob Browser. --- .../default-browser/settings_illustration.svg | 36 +++++++++++++++++++ branding/manifest | 3 ++ 2 files changed, 39 insertions(+) create mode 100644 branding/default-browser/settings_illustration.svg diff --git a/branding/default-browser/settings_illustration.svg b/branding/default-browser/settings_illustration.svg new file mode 100644 index 00000000..d2f97f5c --- /dev/null +++ b/branding/default-browser/settings_illustration.svg @@ -0,0 +1,36 @@ + + + + + + + + + + + + +Redrob Browser + + + + + +Make Redrob Browser your default browser + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + \ No newline at end of file diff --git a/branding/manifest b/branding/manifest index 736625e1..85e344be 100644 --- a/branding/manifest +++ b/branding/manifest @@ -100,6 +100,9 @@ branding/icons/mac/appiconset/appicon_512.png chrome/app/theme/chromium/m branding/icons/mac/appiconset/appicon_1024.png chrome/app/theme/chromium/mac/Assets.xcassets/AppIcon.appiconset/appicon_1024.png binary branding/icons/mac/iconset/icon_256x256.png chrome/app/theme/chromium/mac/Assets.xcassets/Icon.iconset/icon_256x256.png binary branding/icons/mac/iconset/icon_256x256@2x.png chrome/app/theme/chromium/mac/Assets.xcassets/Icon.iconset/icon_256x256@2x.png binary +# The Windows "Set as default" modal draws a mock of Settings > Apps > Default apps. Now the design system's Solid White symbol, for dark grounds. - chrome_product_cr23.svg: the omnibox action icon in the WebUI searchbox, a CSS mask. Now the Solid symbol (only its alpha is used). - The default-browser settings illustration moves next to them under branding/webui/.
