Bash syntax error: unexpected end of file

• I have searched the issues of this repo and believe that this is not a duplicate

• Rhel 9.7:
• Hyper-4.0.0-q-canary.8-x86_64.AppImage:
• The issue is reproducible in vanilla Hyper.app - yes:

Issue

When opening the appimage I get the same error documented in github.com/vercel/issues/6549 on RHEL appearently the same issue is apparent on fedora

Recently I changed my distribution to fedora. I can test the behavior on fedora but I wont be able to do any testing for rhel.
