I've updated GenieX CLI to v0.3.18, and Japanese language responses have stopped working. In the previous version (v0.3.17), the same prompts were correctly answered in Japanese.
Environment:
GenieX CLI version: 0.3.18 (and working in 0.3.17)
Model: google/gemma-4-E4B-it-qat-q4_0-gguf
Steps to Reproduce:
Run a query in Japanese with GenieX v0.3.18
Example input: "日本語で自己紹介して下さい" (Introduce yourself in Japanese)
Expected Behavior:
The model should respond in Japanese, as it did in v0.3.17.
Actual Behavior:
The model provides English interpretations and definitions instead of responding in Japanese.
