The routing Purpose (Any / Transactional / Marketing) hides inside the collapsed Advanced routing section and silently defaults to "Any". Real-world failure (2026-07-30): a connection was named "Postmark · Marketing" but its Purpose stayed "Any", so campaign sends left on the transactional stream — and the collapsed section plus the chip-only-when-customised list row gave no visible cue anything was wrong. Debugging took a full session.
Proposal
- Show the Purpose control in the add-connection flow (not only behind the collapsed section), or auto-expand Advanced routing when a second connection for the same provider is added — that's exactly the "dedicated marketing connection" case.
- Always show the purpose on the connection row, including the default: render an
ANY chip instead of nothing, so "Any" is a visible choice rather than invisible state.
- Bonus: if the connection name contains "marketing"/"broadcast" while Purpose is "Any", show a one-line hint under the name field.
