+1, with two additions to the scope. I need this for the same reason: deleting a project removes its threads, links and metadata, and I often want to look back at those. Archive should hide a project and leave everything else alone. #15990 covers most of it. Archived projects leave the pickers, and their threads leave the sidebar and command palette. Two things I'd still want:
Opening an archived thread directly from a link should keep working. 🤖 Claude Opus 5.5 |

Hi all, first off, thank you. T3 Code has become the main way I work, and the pace of improvements over the last few months has been remarkable. I really appreciate the time everyone puts into it.
Problem or use case
I have a few projects that are finished or on hold. I'd like them out of the sidebar and the project picker, but I want to keep their conversation history.
Right now there are two options, and neither quite works:
Proposed solution
A right-click Archive option on a project, plus Unarchive to bring it back. Archived projects would move into a collapsed "Archived" section at the bottom of the sidebar. The design in the original request (#350) looks right to me.
Smallest useful scope
Archive / Unarchive in the project's right-click menu. Archived projects stay hidden from the sidebar and project picker, and their threads and files are left untouched.
Prior requests
I'm posting it here because the contributing guide says feature requests belong in Ideas. Totally understand if this isn't a priority right now. Thanks again for all the work on this.
