Getting started with Echo

Hello!

I came across this library and wanted to see if I can talk to Echo PLC's. This is what I currently have in place. Running studio 5000 version 37 and trying to talk to an Emulate 5580 that is running in echo.

This is what I'm getting for the output. It seems pycomm can identify what it's trying to connect to but fails to connect.

Hi @jorge-sepulveda, I don't know if you've already solved this, but if so, I'd be interested to know how.

I have considerable experience with Rockwell PLCs, and regarding FT Echo's virtual PLCs, I've already contacted the manufacturer directly. According to them, external communication with virtual PLCs is blocked to prevent use with Soft-PLCs, thus limiting it to benchtop simulation only.

Another piece of information the manufacturer gave me was that it would be possible to use a REST API for some IoT applications, but a license is required.
