issues booting/installing in a gateway gwtn141-bk with 16gb 9f ram and a 10th gen i3

I have to use a Walmart SD card adapter with a 256gb micro SD from a Nintendo switch. Though I don't think that's the issue because I've used it for Debian and arch in the same computer before. Basically as soon as I load it up there seems to be an error loading the graphics drivers or compiling them. Maybe I could try the cli version y'all have and use some sort of install command form the terminal without GNOME so I could make sure I have drivers? I believe it may have been a power issue, I'm going to buy a new charger and update y'all
