Please describe the issue and steps to reproduce it

ZZZ supported only DLSS and I was using OptiScaler with it so that I could use FG and RT with my AMD hardware. A new update was released for the game yesterday and added native support for FSR. However I still want to use Optiscaler to be able to use the latest features of FSR regardless of what the developer implemented.

Before the update, Optiscaler correctly was able to use FSR 4.1.1 as the upscaler (using FSR 3.X/4 as the upscaler setting), however now it only can use 3.1.5 (and 2.3.4) as the upscaler version. So something makes the 4.1.1 option dissappear. Frame generation is still able to use 4.0.1.

I have checked the logs and Opti loads all correct DLLs, so loads in SDK v2.3.0 that comes with OptiScaler and not v2.1.0 that comes with the game.
I have the exact same files in another game (NTE, which also uses DX12) and that does allow me to use 4.1.1. as the upscaler, indicating a ZZZ specific issue? I've also tried without the game-supplied DLLs to check if it maybe did load them somehow, but same issue persists.

I have attached

  • OptiScaler.log (set LogLevel=0 and LogToFile=true in OptiScaler.ini, zip it if too big)

OptiScaler.log

  • Screenshot of game folder (where you placed Opti)

  • Screenshot of Opti overlay in-game (opens with shortcut, default Insert)
