global preferences for common settings

As is:
Currently the preselected default for identifiers is URN format.
WebURI should be preferred default, however some users may wish to use URN as their preferred default.

Proposal:
Introduce global preferences to configure defaults for frequently used items to allow users to adjust them to their liking.

I see the following to be part of future global preferences:

• identifier format (WebURI, URN)
• list of commonly used GTINs and GLNs
