[Bug report] Language not updating in the popup when changing course

Describe the bug
The language label does not update to the new language, when changing course

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. On the home page, pick another course
2. Open the extension popup
3. The language is the old one

Expected behavior
The language in the extension popup should update upon changing course.
