How to push a recipe to NextCloud cookbook

HI all,

I have a question about importing a recipe.
Is it possible to push a recipe to the cookbook by calling a web address instead of placing on URL into the import textbox and pulling it in. My idea is to convert some of our textual recipes (handwritten) into the needed JSON shema and then push them by calling an API.

Hey,

yes, you can use the API to write JSON data directly into the cookbook. You might want to have a look at the OpenAPI specifications for devs. There is also a chat room on matrix where I announce updates in the API (just FYI, there is not much traffic ATM).

Thank you for pointing me to the documentation. I missed that in my search.

Just one word of warning. There is a plan to modify the API endpoints in the future. I will deprecate the old ones (not remove immediately) and give notice to the chat.

It will be some time till then. Just do not be surprised.

It will not significantly change stuff. Mainly a different URL and the answer will have a different style. If you are curious, I want to use OCS for technical reasons.
