In ZotPad 1.2 and prior, there are often timeouts in connecting to Zotero server or WebDAV server. These may be because of too low timeout value in the networking library.
ZotPad 2.0 uses a different networking library. If the problem with timeouts persists with that, the timeout should be made user configurable.
