VSCode gives error ts(2503) on the ComponentFramework namespace

Both using a fresh custom component using pac pcf init and using the latest files from the microsoft/PowerApps-Samples repository gives an error on the namespace for the ComponentFramework

Building the component using the command line works fine. This is just distracting from actual errors, as you cannot see in the file tree if there is a real issue in the file or just a bug issue.
