Tackbok — an open-source gratitude journal built with TrueSheet

[mehradotdev]

Hey everyone! 👋

I wanted to share Tackbok, a free, open-source gratitude journal I’m building with React Native and Expo. It’s focused on private, offline-first journaling, with support for photos, voice notes, moods, and tags.

TrueSheet is a big part of the app’s UI. I use it extensively for mood and tag selection, voice recording, browsing journaling prompts, and customizing themes and fonts. Bottom sheets let people make these choices without losing their place while writing, which fits the experience I wanted for Tackbok really well.

A big thank you to @lodev09 and everyone contributing to TrueSheet! I wanted to share something built with the library and make the source available for anyone curious about how it’s used throughout an app.
