New Behavior option in Nemo 6.7.4+alfa causes failure-on-open loop #3807

Description

@Qapla-git

Distribution

Mint 23 alfa

Package version

Nemo 6.7.4+alfa

Frequency

Always

Bug description

This may be a duplicate of issue 3742, but that does not reference the new Behavior option.

"Restore last window tabs on startup" is a new option in Nemo 6.7.4+alfa Preferences Behavior. If the folder remembered by a single tab is deleted by another process after the Nemo window is closed, any attempt to open Nemo without naming a new target causes non-recoverable failure: Could not find "...rememberedfolder...". Please check the spelling and try again.

Steps to reproduce

Open two Nemo single tab windows (e.g. click on Files in Panel)
In one window create a new folder, open into that folder, close that window
In the other window delete the folder created in the first window
Open a new Nemo window without naming a target (e.g. click on Files in Panel)

Image

Expected behavior

After the error message Nemo should either forget the missing target name and/or default to /home/$USER

Additional information

(I am testing Alfa upgraded from Zena in VirtualBox VM, as shown how in various Youtube videos. This is the only problem found so far in the full system install of all my apps. Nice!)
