Styling (e.g. flashing) of a tab when it's not active but the entity is updated

I propose a visual indicator (colour change, flashing...) if the contents of a tab updates (e.g. the "last updated" state of an entity) for a tab that is currently not active.
Use case: I use tabs to monitor logs of three different devices. Now I need to click through all three of the tabs to check if a new log message arrived.

In general, a tab may contain a card / stack of cards with plenty of entities - or may be just plenty of stateless buttons - or may be just markdowns / images. Means - there could be no particular entity which can be used as “traceable”.
Besides, not only a “state is changed” can be used as a “highlight a tab” condition ; in fact, a complex criteria can be used instead.
Means - there should be a possibility to define a complex criteria using templating (jinja for example) to highlight a tab.
And - surprise! - this is ALREADY possible with card-mod: define a conditional style for a particular tab using jinja.
