Hi There,
I am using a USR-TCP232-304 to read data from the RS485 port on my Sunsynk 8kw inverter. I am running HA OS via UTM on a MacMini M1. I previously tried using a USB to RS485 cable but had issues getting the data from the MacMini USB port into HA via UTM. So I have reverted to the USR to try access the data via TCP.
HA is communicating with the device and I am able to make the requests via the Add-On from HA but the TCP device is not getting any response from the inverter. I have checked and adjusted the polarity of the RJ45 cable. I have tested the cable with a multimeter to make sure the cable or connecter is not damaged. I have tried different Modbus ID’s. I have started from scratch with a fresh install of the Add-On and still nothing.
What could I be doing wrong?
