BUG: MOdel cannotaccess function (e.g. Contacts)

Describe the bug
The user guide says that Sidekick can use functions and gives an example "Sidekick finds my birthday and Jean's email address from my contacts book". However, when I ask "when is my birthday?", the response is I don't have access to your personal information, including your birthday. If you'd like to set a reminder or share your birthday with me, feel free to provide the date, and I can help you track it! and when I am more explicit: "show me what is in my contacts for [my name], the response is I don't have access to your personal contacts or data. If you'd like assistance with something else—like organizing a project, writing code, or analyzing data—feel free to let me know!

To Reproduce

1. In Setting>General, check that 'Use Functions' is on
2. Open a new conversation. Check that the dropdown f(x) Functions has Contacts checked.
3. Enter when is my birthday? (or any other question whose answer requires accessing your Contacts) and press Enter.

Expected behavior
A correct answer to the question
