Background colour change?

Hey guys, Great project.

I was wondering how to change the white background colour on the site to black. I can't seem to change the varibles in the style.css override section for it to work

Hi @Dullness2929 I had a similar issue. I noted after I changed the theme to red and tried to make changes in the "static/css/style.css" file that nothing happened. Using the dev tools I noted that style.css wasn't loading but red.css was. So instead copied the red.css file from "themes/hugobricks/static/css/red.css" to "themes/css/red.css" and added a custom css section at the bottom of the file. This seemed to do the trick for me.

If you're using the default theme then I'm not sure what's happening. Use the dev tools, check under "Network" and then filter for "css" to see what css files are being downloaded. Best of luck.

@Dullness2929 - Ideally you shouldn't be making any modifications to files in the /themes/ directory. Here's what I did to start customizing things:

• Make a copy of any of the .css or style.css and move it to /static/css/ (not under the themes directory). Next, rename that file to something individual like custom.css. Then, in the /data/settings.yaml file change your color to "custom" (without the .css extension) so that it loads your custom settings:

color_name: custom

I did this exact thing for my own site that I'm working on, and I've been adding all my customizations for new bricks, 1st-party fonts, and stuff in that same custom.css file.
