Bug Report: unwanted folders in the data providers submission folders

A folder in the submission directory may not have been created by the data provider, and the system may be behaving unexpectedly as a result.

Verify if the folder was created by the system.

Expected behavior

The system should not create any folders inside the data providers' submission folders.

We don't currently enforce any particular structure within the submission and ERDDAP folders.

However, you might try find /data/submission/ -mindepth 3 -maxdepth 3 -type f to determine where these folders lie.
