OSM building missing from OpenFreeMap after 2 weekly updates

Hello,

I am using Helios in Home Assistant, which uses OpenFreeMap vector tiles for its 2.5D building visualization.

I initially noticed that my house was missing in Helios. After investigating, I found that the building is correctly present in OpenStreetMap but is also missing directly from the OpenFreeMap public map.

The building was added to OpenStreetMap about 15 days ago and is still completely missing from OpenFreeMap after two expected weekly update cycles.

The current OSM object is:
building=detached

The building renders correctly on openstreetmap.org, but is completely absent from the OpenFreeMap public map, including the 3D style.

Neighbouring buildings are displayed correctly.

As OpenFreeMap documentation indicates that the Planet is generated weekly and latest is updated every Saturday, I expected this building to have been included after two update cycles.

Could you please check whether Way 1546634354 is present in the current OpenFreeMap Planet/vector tiles, or whether there may be an issue with the current data update?

Looking at https://btrfs.openfreemap.com/dirs.txt I can see that updated tiles have been generated on 2026-08-02, 2026-08-10, and 2026-08-16. However, extracting the tile source referenced by OpenFreeMap bright style style ( https://tiles.openfreemap.org/planet ), we can see the metadata currently specifies https://tiles.openfreemap.org/planet/20260802_080001_pt/{z}/{x}/{y}.pbf, which is the data from 2026-08-02. I don't know why it hasn't been updated.

Sorry about the delay, and thank you for reporting it. I was refactoring the codebase, and one weekly build was skipped during that work. The next build is running and will be deployed on Tuesday, August 18 at 08:00 UTC.

Just a quick follow-up: it is now Tuesday, August 18, 19:31 CEST (17:31 UTC), and the public OpenFreeMap Planet still appears to point to:

20260802_080001_pt

I can see that the newer build 20260816_080001_pt exists, but it does not seem to be served as the current Planet yet.

So the building from OSM Way 1546634354 is still missing from OpenFreeMap and consequently from Helios in Home Assistant.

No urgency — I just wanted to let you know in case the deployment scheduled for 08:00 UTC today did not complete as expected.

Thanks for the follow-up. The deployment completed at 08:00 UTC, but I found that the /planet metadata has a 24-hour CDN cache. Some requests still receive the August 2 version, while others already receive the August 16 version. All cached responses should expire by August 19 at 08:00 UTC. I will change that to 1 hour instead of 24 in the future.
