Support for rich text pasting

Description

I would like to request an optional enhancement to paste handling, specifically for content copied as rich text (HTML/RTF).

Current behavior:

When pasting content copied from a rich text source (browser, document editor, etc.), Markor strips all formatting and inserts plain text only.

This may be intentional, I dont know.

Proposed behavior (optional):

Add an optional paste mode that converts rich text from the clipboard into Markdown syntax, just like what Obsidian can do, preserving basic structure where possible:

• bold / italic
• headings
• links
• lists
• tables
• etc.

Keeps the current plain-text paste as the default, with formatting conversion being opt-in (e.g. setting or paste dialog).

Alternatives considered:

I currently use Obsidian to convert rich text and likewise to Markdown.

Assume it requires HTML-to-X parser (to convert the html to the current used format's syntax). Which is not a generic solution.

Sorry, I didn't quite get what you want to say. I am assuming you are saying that this feature would require HTML to a specific format parser, and since Markor supports various formats, it would be difficult to implement this feature?

To be honest, HTML to markdown is more than enough and I was only requesting for that (edited the main post accordingly). Would it not be possible to have an optional toggle only in markdown (.md) files and when it is on, Markor would not remove extra details from HTML (or converts HTML to markdown)? Let it be a feature only for markdown files with an optional toggle which would be off by default.

Btw, there is also an open source app - Notesnook which support this feature, just in case if it would be of any help. It’s been a useful tool in their app, and I think it would be a great addition to Markor as well. I will also attach videos of the feature I requested. I didnt get to add them in first because github didn't allow me to, probably because of the big size of the video. Understandably, these videos are of low quality.

It's not hard, but it needs new features and better compatibility of flexmark 0.64.8 for flexmark-html2md-converter.

I will implement this feature after PR #2407 merged.
