Shoot- The slack thread was deleted because it was in a private chat.

@musculman @reemtariqq The goal was acceptance tests that run in CI and cloud to verify dependencies are loaded from our CDN correctly and basic IRM functionality is working. SLOs is now doing this.

Ah yes, thank you for reminder! The confusion comes from the fact that we had started two different (albeit related) activities that were in different states of implementation:

1. integration tests between 3rd party and IRM (Alerting <> IRM integration so that contact points do not break again)
2. smoke tests to verify basic functionality is working (load up plugin, show list of incidents, create incident, etc.)

Would you mind providing some links or docs to see what the SLO team is doing?

also @jalevin if you have time, mind if i set up a meeting so i can share our cases, we have an attempt to run e2e smoke tests using k6 in CI https://github.com/grafana/irm/pull/8565 but maybe we can replace this attempt with grafana bench
