Device: GoPro Mission 1 Pro
I want a gallery password‑lock feature similar to DJI Action series.
Use case:
When lending the camera to friends or other people, I do not want others to view the existing photos and videos stored inside the camera’s gallery.
Currently there is no built‑in way to lock local gallery access on Mission. Old HERO9 Labs had SD‑card AES encryption, but that solution is not supported on Mission and is very cumbersome for daily use.
Expected behavior:
After turning on this function, users need to enter a numeric password every time they open the on‑camera gallery. Recording function can still work normally without password, only gallery browsing is protected.
It would be perfect if this could be implemented as a Labs experimental feature, activated via QR code, no need to add it to official retail menu.
