I’m sharing my ghost repository, which contains PowerShell scripts for resetting device IDs for Cursor and Windsurf code editors, and changing Windows device identifiers.

One idea could be to add a simulation mode that previews the device ID changes without actually applying them. This way, users can see potential impacts safely before running the script — kind of like a ‘what-if’ scenario for system IDs.

Great idea! 💡 Maybe the simulation mode could also generate a log of what files and settings would be changed, so users can review it before actually applying anything. That would make the scripts even safer and more transparent.
