I am experiencing a random issue with Home Assistant Voice Preview Edition.
This one: https://www.home-assistant.io/voice-pe/
Device remains Available in Home Assistant.
Wake word sound works normally.
Pipeline states change correctly (listening → processing → responding).
media_player state changes to "playing".
Volume level is correct and not muted.
However, there is no audio output at all for TTS or assist_satellite.announce.
Even preannounce sound does not play.
Rebooting the device immediately restores audio functionality.
This happens randomly, sometimes after multiple announcements overlap or after normal usage.
Home Assistant is running on HA OS (Intel N100, 16GB RAM).
TTS via Nabu Casa.
It appears that the audio output (I2S/DAC) on the ESP32 may be entering a deadlock state.
Firmware version:
Nabu Casa.Home Assistant Voice PE
Installed version 25.12.4
Latest version 25.12.4
Home Assistant version:
Core 2026.2.3
Supervisor 2026.02.3
Operating System 17.1
