Having issues with v1.2 board

Having issues with v1.2 board, not getting any video but led on the pico flashes with key presses.

On startup without the pico off the pcb i get a long led then a short flash, on the pcb just the
long flash at power up.

Also tried a second pico with same results.

Only doing vga.

Any thoughts ?

If the LED flashes with key presses then the firmware is generally running. One possibility is that it's running in HDMI output mode but you are using a VGA monitor.

Since you are not using HDMI, did you maybe leave out the resistors related to HDMI? If R23 is missing then the HDMI auto-detection may incorrectly detect an HDMI monitor and switch to HDMI mode. Make sure that R23 is installed on the board.

Yes r23 installed, maybe a different resistor value to force it to vga?
