LG HD DVD drives

The flasher does work with LG GGW-H20L (LG HD DVD-ROM & BD-RE drive), however it does not seem to work with the LG GGR-L20N, which is a HD DVD & BD Reader present in the player "LG BH200 Super Blue".
This drive firmware seems to be the best at reading rotted disc by Warner Brothers, so im wondering if there is any way to extract it and maybe try crossflashing it to a GGC-H20N,

That would be hard to know this utility is predominately meant for renesas based drives which is the chip that the drive has on its pcb board inside. also the other problem is that later drives used encrypted firmware. the software has the ability to do manual inputted addresses to dump which might work but what that address would need to be I would not know.

if the dvd player ever had an update that could be loaded on a usb drive and manually updated it might be possible to extract the firmware from that.
