Does Chappe support footnotes?

Hello!

I tried writing a footnote and it doesn’t get rendered. Is there a config I can set to make the renderer parse it?

Side question: What renderer does Chappe use internally? Maybe I can check upstream if support for it exists/has been added and bump/enable it in Chappe?

Not supported nope. But feel free to PR! I use marked for the guides. So you can look for that.

markedjs/marked#3309 (comment) says footnotes are unsupported because it’s not standardized, but a community-made marked extension exists. Should I proceed adding it or would you refuse adding untrusted dependencies?
