Jellyfin LXC update fails

I've been using Jellyfin in a LXC for a while and it shows "Server version 10.11.8" in the web GUI. However, it seems like there's some kind of problem when running update/upgrade from the LXC console:

I don't think --with-new-pkgs plays well with apt upgrade

Have you tried

apt update
apt --fix-broken install
apt full-upgrade

I had the same problem an crated an Issue (#16003)
This is the workaround that worked for me:

• create source-file:

nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ubuntu.sources

• paste into that file:

Types: deb
URIs: http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/
Suites: noble noble-updates noble-backports
Components: main restricted universe multiverse
Signed-By: /usr/share/keyrings/ubuntu-archive-keyring.gpg
