just wondering what’s up with the new paint branch .

eager to give it a go , but also curious about what the architectural approach is in this branch .

Thanks for asking about this. We are planning to merge the newpaint branch (#1457) before Friday, so you can try it out after that. We will provide more details on the changes made and the new architecture when we merge the PR. Please let me know if you have any questions.
